I Have A Sharp Knife

I have a sharp knife I use
To chop sweet odorous leaves
And layered piquancies to the
Consistency I desire.
I dice with my knife and am aware
Whenever I slash my air alone.

How can someone use a knife
On a living breathing person?
To destroy
So many lives
Slashing with their knives
Making parents orphans
Widowing the children.

We are all in charge of knives.

Excellent political commentry on life in the knife era linda! Yes it should be published and the children better occupied and educated. Great read, Tai

We think you should publish this in the papers, especially now that we are desperately trying to stop the knife slaughter of our kids and the gov has just allocated 3 million to support an anti-knife campaign. Your poem would become a great anthem for a national movement.
much luv estix
