There's A Baby Being Born

There's a baby being born tonight
Far away from here
And I hear centimeters progresses
Over the ether.
Hourly thousands of miles away
I am informed of eighths of inches.
It's fantastic!

The world is getting smaller indeed
Mother nature is as clever as ever.
There's a baby being born tonight
With hands who can easily catch it-
A baby born to the special joy
Of all.

Then I flick on the news...

Then flick it off...
Tonight was made for music!

There is that wonderful anticipation always with new life! We mock nature at times, yet she is a sheer marvel and now with modern technology, those moments are played out. Definitely a musical night - some moments are too precious to chance anything spoiling the mood and moment.
