Reaching For Love.......Again

Down the long road,
which seems never ending,
I walk with a melancholic mind.
Have been just hit by the reality.

Never had been lost so deep in your thoughts,
as i am now.
Am being burnt by the fire of contrite,
the wind blowing against
chafes the tears running down my eyes,
as if to solace me,
and get me back to the present.

How i wish you were now beside me,
our shoulders conjoined and hand in hand.
Feeling so lonely and unimportant without you,
I wonder,will you ever come back?

All i need is an other chance,
to come out of my rigid stance,
Will wait for you till then,
even if it is for an eternity.
