Its raining cats & dogs

Its raining cats and dogs outside the wide glass
I sit within my office, and see.
Just like my inner
I don't know who cries up above the clouds
I guess some friends departed--- see me.
And send their sympathies as rain
Because I feel it falling not on my body but on my brain
Its cleaning the trees and all under the sky
And the rain inside is washing your misdeeds ----strange why?
So many couples happy happy
I see, going through down in the parking
to celebrate some one's sorrow
Poor they unaware!!!
And the stubborn me
Is thinking what you'll be doing
And making the whimsical wishes
Would that! You remember me for once!
The time spent together yet being far away,
had so much life in it, even in scorchers
Because my life is you and when life sustains
Seasons never matter.

I love this poem, because it has such a Britishly expressive title, which takes me back to my childhood and my grandmother using it, which were also times of my wondering souls delight....I was free to dream and this poem does just that too....

The worker in the office looking down on life passing by yearning for faraway love, is the truth in poet highrise imo. So contemporary in theme.

Your final four lines go straight to the heart of what really matters in living life....

The time spent together yet being far away,
had so much life in it, even in scorchers
Because my life is you and when life sustains
Seasons never matter.

Another excellent read, so emotive I am not sure my eyes and heart can take much more....

A glutton for such wonderfully enlightening punishment
