Forbidden Love

My eyes stare
In a different way with you.
Your long blonde hair sways
As you step with your big, black boots.

Friends. That's what we are.

It's as if it's forbidden
At school.
People with these feelings, baby
Are mocked and ridiculed.

Friends. That's what we are.

It's never been this way before
Friends is what we are
But not what I want to be.
I've fallen for someone physically
the same as me.
But this love is forbidden
Forbidden love
Forbidden love at fourteen.
