i wrote this when i was a freshman at high school. everyone was treating me and my friends different so i wrote this.

We are Outcast

today is a day
that holds great meaning
due to the fact that
there is a beginning
today is the day
we stand for ourselves
we will no longer
sit on the shelves

we will stop watching
time pass us by
this time we will
work hard and try
to tell the people
we are all around
as long as there is
some solid ground

we are the people
that work beside you
we are the ones
that walk like a crew
we are the ones
that you insult the most
we ignore you
while you boast

the names of the people
i cannot tell
there are too many
for me to yell
so if you see us
in the hall
don't make fun
and have a ball
say you're sorry
for what you have done
and our kindness
you may have won

That is a nice take on those so called seniors at the school, they really rag the juniors... very nice flow to the poem...
