Your Not a Hero

Make up your mind
It isn't a game
You treated me like that
Now your going to treat her the same

I don't like what you're doing
Its not fair at all
You shouldn't do that to someone
Who you wouldn't catch if they were to fall

Treat this like its worth nothing
And you will be treated the same way
You will be treated like you don't matter
And it will go on day after day

I don't know about the others
But I sure as hell will treat you like your worth nothing; zero
You seem to think your doing the right thing
But you are no where near being a hero

Instead of making things better
You're just making this worse everytime you say something
You think your better than everyone else
But only disaster you bring.

Think before you act
Then disasters won't come around
You willbe treated like a hero
And maybe, just maybe your good side will be found

Dee Daffodil
This poem makes me wonder why you thought at one time that this person WAS a hero. Often we form images in our mind's eye, of the people we want to have around us. Sometimes they're family, sometimes they are friends, sometimes people we haven't even met yet. When reality confronts us, and causes us to question the images we have formed, it can be a painful process to accept. It doesn't mean that those people are any less great, they are just different from what we grew to expect of them. :-)
Hugs,
Dee
