Guiding Lightness

Love never tells any lies
It's pure like the smile of a child
Guiding us towards the laughter
And feeding our hearts with warmth

Portraying our fears as amusing
Turning them into cartoons
While caressing us in its light
As the demons stumble and fall

Love will bring these gifts
With surrender to its innocent glow
Then we'll lay rolling in the aisles
As darkness bids a farewell curtsy

Especially today, having talked about love and fear with somebody who has hos place inside my heart, this was for me a perfect reading

If we let ourselves be guided by love not fear we will always find the right way, I suppose.. The soft will win over the hard and the smile will drive the demons off ...

And smile I must now - so comforting and reviving to read your poem. It made me ripple like a summer brook inside :)
