It's so true, that I couldn't think of a proper name. So, this is it. :)

Nameless

I want to say those words
let them slide out of my lips
engulf you, embrace you
But I am scared
scared they will be taken
as just words.

I want to go back to that night
walking amidst happy chaos
completely unaware
we were entwined, yet
not touching
Now I feel that way,
And you are far away.

I am waiting for yesterday to end
for tomorrow to awake
I want to rise in the morning
and open my eyes to you.

Summer will gather us up
take us away
She will usher us to paths of verdure
rivers of pleasure and happiness
We will walk through our days
talk through our smiles
and laugh for as long
as water ripples.

This poem sent such a shiver down my lonesome spine my friend! it's every word was perfectly expressed of the fears that engulf us when anticipating a happy future with the one we love.

I especially enjoyed these lines,

walking amidst happy chaos
completely unaware
we were entwined, yet
not touching

such a contemporary feeling to them in this cyber age.

It is so easy to remain nameless out here. Better to take the risk and shout those words out. Without a doubt.

Tai, smiling at you
