I Said Baby

I said baby it means nothing to me,
but you won't get a poem in my diary.
I do not care about the world, .....no more
when no one else is keeping score.

Living for the simple things,
complicated's how it always seems.
You can take yourself; as I am.
I get the bread I don't get the jam.

I walk in trees that somebody grew;
Someone cared about the view
Today I see only misery
I should be the hell over you

Somehow hey I got a ticket
This show is an open heart.
Which could be love or it could be
what picks me up and crushes me.

Climb a mountain, make it better.
Hide inside a cave forever.
I could cut off all my long hair now.
Building bridges takes me too long;
all the while you need to be strong.
I should cut off all my long hair now.

And life can't shine
If it won't be mine.
I'm trying not to kill myself with love,
and I'm doing fine.
