aaah the joys of grown up love...

C'est La Vie

"Goodbye my love"
He says on a bended knee
We have so much to look forward to
Now
Separately.

"Hello my life"
She says with a smile of glee
We have too much to move forward to
Now
It's c'est la vie.

"How are you?"
They say with equanimity
Both having moved forward
Now
Magnanimously.

For some reason I started smiling at the first word of the second stanza, and then continued to smile all the way to the "grown up" finale. I'm not keen on making enemies, they've taught me too much to become that. :)

Awesome reflection! ♥

This remeeting is a far cry from "How shall I greet thee? With silence and tears"! Though I suppose there is room for disagreement, this sounds more mature to me...

How grown up Portugal is.
Over here the lawyers would be hovering like vultures and passing out business cards!
All the best, Nick

OH , my, but didn't Shakey-speared say "parting is sweet sorrow"? ...it is not for me to judge when a relationship becomes amicably spent......it is rare that it is amicable......you know what you need .....and no longer need....but whatever you decide, i HOPE it brings you happiness.....and growth!
