A little something I wrote after reading some of my old dark poems...
On this road forever
Will it ever turn
Nothing in front
Nothing behind
Nothing by my side
Insanity
Been sitting in this cage forever
Will I ever get out
Concrete walls
Concrete floors
Bars on windows and doors
Escape
The darkest dark consumes you
slowly eating you up inside
When people talk
You dont hear
When people cry
You do not care
The darkest dark consumes you
slowly eating you up inside
Downfall
You are sitting in the gutter
With a needle in your hand
Looking at the scars on you arm
One more to come
Strapping up and you are done
Moonlight
Its shining in the night
Casting shadows to the ground
An addict sleeping
Bleeding from his arm
He never meant to cause any harm
Fading
The darkest dark consumes you
slowly eating you up inside
When people talk
You dont hear
When people cry
You do not care
The darkest dark consumes you
slowly eating you up inside
The darkest dark
The path you walk had a turn
No more despair
No more insanity
as you escaped from your cage
This is the ending
in despair you gasp for air
The moonlight shines on you
as the darkest dark consumed you soul
