The Pond

fragile moments
in the blink of an eye
moving mountains

like the world is changed

the truth stands still
resting, knowingly
as I long for it

a glimpse of something
eternal; a tear I shed

into the
starspeckled pond

i think that the line "eternal; a tear I shed" holds much more in it than just a fractionated verse...maybe i am wrong and maybe i read more than you intended...if you meant what i think you meant then you have a brilliant poetic mind - if not, a brilliant poetic intuition :) either way, i'm glad i found this one :)

Stunningly beautiful imagery here, and so sad it made me want to join you in dropping a tear into that pond too.

Good to meet your heart

Smiling at you
