Chorus

And so the unelected come to power
In our
Democracy.

As they parade before us
They are filling their back pockets.

No problem of course.

We will vote on premium lines
Instead.
Democracy is dead.
Killed by this dumbness
Before us.

Blood.
Hands.
All of us.
Are guilty of singing
This chorus.

No-one will wake up.
Too dumb to be part conscious
For fecks sake
Stop watching.
Start fighting
Please become contentious.
Breathe choices into lives.

I know Linda, we are a sad and complacent society that allows idiots like us, only richer, to shake us down and around and around, over and over again.

The powers that we allow to be, have much more power in the tips of their stunning guns these day though. Protest is a dangerous thing to do. Democracy? lol What's that when it's in our home country? More like a bunch of 'dicks taking our ship'

As long as we have enough to worry about losing we obey the bullies.
Democracy? Rhymes with hypocrisy. Perhaps the placebo of the people :-) Gimmie cynacism any day! :-)
