Tropic Dreams

Tropic Dreams

I long to retire and change my attire
All of my neck ties must go.
Spend my days by the water, something that I oughta
Have done such a long time ago.
Come and lay by my side in my hammock.
We'll learn to relax and have fun.
We'll walk hand in hand, dance in the sand
And play in the warm tropic sun.

I'll take my senorita down to Costa Rica
A tropic vacation for two.
We'll stay there forever enjoying the weather
We'll find plenty of fun things to do.
Come dance with me in the motion
The steel drum rhythm provides.
I just can't go wrong with you in a sarong
Forever here by my side.

This dream keeps getting stronger.
I somehow must make it come true.
I don't think I can take it much longer.
I'm ready today, how 'bout you?

My head is spinning, I can't keep from grinning
Excited beyond all compare.
It's just that knowing someday I'll be going
Has me walking on clouds in mid-air.
Come join me for some romancing.
Alone on the beach with you.
My heart is beating and time is fleeting
It's time for these dreams to come true.

This dream keeps getting stronger.
I somehow must make it come true.
I don't think I can take it much longer.
I'm ready today, how 'bout you?
