Another Trip Around the Sun

The sun comes up, the sun goes down.
This old world keeps spinning 'round and 'round.
Blink your eyes and it is done,
Another trip around the sun.

Time keeps on moving, no matter what we do.
I won't stop for me, it won't stop for you.
Make the most of everyday, don't let one slip by.
You'll never get it back again, no matter how you try.

The sun comes up, the sun goes down.
This old world keeps spinning 'round and 'round.
Blink your eyes and it is done,
Another trip around the sun.

Days turn into weeks, turn into months, turn into years.
Don't let life escape you, go on and face your fears.
What you fear the most just might bring you joy.
That's the philosophy I urge you to employ.

The sun comes up, the sun goes down.
This old world keeps spinning 'round and 'round.
Blink your eyes and it is done,
Another trip around the sun.

No one ever promised us how long we will be here.
So keep a smile upon your face, bring someone some cheer.
Life's too short to spend it sad and with the blues.
Happiness is within your reach, it's up to you to choose.

The tide rolls in, the tide rolls out.
An unchanging pattern, there is no doubt.
Count your blessings one by one.
And enjoy each trip around the sun.
