The poem talks about the love between a vampire and human

TWILIGHT DIVIDE

Perhaps it was strange
After a long gone decade
I took a turn
And there she was

She walked down the fountain
On barefoot as I stare
Nothing has really changed
Hopefully I have missed out

She kept on living in this insight
All the while I was away
A romantic candle night
On the cradle of love with me

I thought it twice
How ignorant I was
Living in a protection
Only the dark could offer

The passion to draw close
Would never heal her wounds
For her blood will I seek
Than the refreshing breath from her kiss

The basement of the sacred hall
Was where we had our first grip of love
Where she whined fervently
When we deflowered each other

Away from home
Am immortalised to isolate from
But this memory will live on
On the trail of our meet

Gothic romance and thrills prevail. The language is most appropriet and beautifully used. Vampires are very popular these days. But that isn't something new. Vampires have always been popular in horror films. They were my favorite fright when I was a kid. Bella Lagosi was a master then came the great Christopher Lee, a fantastic Dracula. very prolific and effective with Peter Chushing as Van Helsing. They teamed in many Hammer films. All quite frightening to a 12 -14 year old. The difference now is vampires are the heros and heroines and not the villians.
