My Coming Out

My big fear
It was to tell you something
I wanted to tell you when i'm 18
But last night

I was really sad
Because of several things
I wanted to tell you

You dont know how
Now you know
Now you know me

You're my mother
My goddess

A little of friends knew
Not you

We was in the car
Going to home

I started to cry
Why i cried?

Mom, I want to tell you something
You know my good friend ----------
He's gay
I am too

She was like:
darling I love you
You're my daughter!

Mom, Iove you

Thank you for understand me!

My sweetest friend Sabrina!! sometimes we never know what our fear will take us,but when we break the fear of who will make judgement upon us...and open a door to a new beginnng of what you just have done, you face your fear and look!! your mother loves you unconditionally and I am so happy you let out what you feared of being rejected!!I am so proud of you hun!!

love you friend,,,

And that's exactly how I believe it should be as well. I've a few friends who it was very difficult (some impossible) for them to be accepted by their family, and to this day, my mind and my heart just can't wrap around this type of reaction. I have two sons and I can't even imagine turning my back on them - especially not for something that makes them happy and that caters to their well-being in their life. It's unthinkable.

I'm really glad that you were able to lift that weight off with your mom. You expressed it very well in this text. I hope you shared it with your mom :) Thanks for sharing it with us, it filled my heart with a smile for you. :fm xx
