i do try to be good

Christmas Day

Wherever you are
Whatever you think
Just blink hard and smile
From the inside.
Today is the day
When we are all worthwhile
Today is a day of peace.

Even I shall be quite quietly quiet.
Happy Christmas everybody.

Jenks...I appreciate your desire to be "good" for the
Christmas season, and you wrote about it well in this poem...

My problem is that everybody's striving for the best for this
holiday season, but I wish they'd all come to "goodness"
all the rest of the y ear

'quite quietly quiet.' Linda? What a fabulous line this is, purely rolls around the tongue.

I do try to be gooder too, at christmas, but we have to be, otherwise christmas would not be! quite as quietly happy.

A very Merry Clitoris to you my friend!

Smiling at you

There's an inner curmudgeon muttering "Humbug," while still wishing Samantha Stevens were about to blink and smile and cause said peace!
Merry Christmas Linda!!!!!

Nice thought! Still, the facts remain that by that time the Solstice will be four days behind us, and the theology will still make no sense...

:-,?
