At times it seems so difficult in this world to stick to your values, but I believe that holding onto hope that God's going to help us under all circumstances...
I am drifting away
O' Lord, I am drifting away
And I so want to hold onto You.
The worries of this world
I am unable to battle
And I am aching with the pain
Of being trapped and torn
I look up to Your strength
When in weakness I am drenched
I so want to hold onto You.
Where ever I look
There are trials and temptations
And all my ways lead to these
There is one way Jesus
That You alone can show
Hold my hand and lead me on.
I am being pulled and dragged
All because of my evil desires
And yet I so want to hold onto You
For you alone are my hope and escape
Help me Lord to keep holding onto You.
