The Road To Calvary

God,
you can't mention Jesus
without offending somebody
Christ,be careful
they'll nail you to the cross
like old roadkill
on the fence post.

Too late for JC;
they already did.

I very much like the double entendres addressing two-thirds of the Holy Trinity, and especially the graphic simile; the latter reminds me of the uncanny impression I received on first reading Yeats' "The Second Coming."
