What More Can I Say

The sun came up this morning, like it always does.
It doesn't seem to give a damn that we're no longer us.
Wall Street opened up today, the kids are back in school.
I'm still stuck in yesterday, I feel like such a fool.

I can't imagine Baby, living without you.
You're my one and only, girl. You know that is true.
I'd sacrifice my very soul, just for one more day.
Darlin' I still love you. What more can I say?

I'm sittin' here with a broken heart, don't know left from right.
I didn't sleep a wink at all, I just cried all night.
You told me it was over, then you drove away.
The earth kept right on spinning, but my world stopped that day.

I can't imagine Baby, living without you.
You're my one and only, girl. You know that is true.
I'd sacrifice my very soul, just for one more day.
Darlin' I still love you. What more can I say?

I showed up at the office, it all looked the same.
How anyone could function, to me just seemed a shame.
Can't they tell that I am gone, I'm nothing but a shell.
Since you left me Baby, my life's been pure hell.

I can't imagine Baby, living without you.
You're my one and only, girl. You know that is true.
I'd sacrifice my very soul, just for one more day.
Darlin' I still love you. What more can I say?

How long will this heartache last? I hate this emptiness.
I'd give everything I have for some happiness.
There'll never be another you, you're one of a kind.
I just need to get a grip before I lose my mind.

I can't imagine Baby, living without you.
You're my one and only, girl. You know that is true.
I'd sacrifice my very soul, just for one more day.
Darlin' I still love you. What more can I say?
