DOWN MEMORY LANE IN A SONG OR TWO

There are songs and music to ,

Played upon the radio ,

I smile as I listen , I travail back in time ,

Only I know why I smile ,

Some times I listen and I am sad ,

If any one looked closer ,

They would see a tear ,

Only I know why.

Every song has its own memory or connotation to us. There are so many songs and tunes, that at different points in my life have seen me through and while I may not listen to them for many years, when suddenly I do hear them they ring and conjure so much

'Why Walk When You Can Fly' by Mary Chapin Carpenter - if you get a chance to listen to this, I do recommend it :-)
