Utter folly

  Nothing begets more pain
more useless craving

more wasted energy
than desiring what you
cannot, should not, must not have
at any cost

  the distance between
what you have
and have not
is twice its value
only while out of reach

  No trade union
can exist without you

and where would the market be
unless you worshipped
your desire

Very thought provoking Teddy. Sadly, in our complex nature, we are capable of being both predator and prey. The art of persuasion has grown into a science and none know this better than commerce.
Thanks, Nick
