Musings . . . just another dichotomy of thought . . .

*Rediscovery*

Outside my own cave where
flickery glimmery shadowy
memories are being reborn

Ε
xists only:

¤Wave tranquility¤

Don’t talk to me about the sea
Don’t talk to me about the waves
you have never seen but talk to me
about the sound of your very first kiss
as if we shared the same silence just

before we returned to the shore and
opened our eyes

- so far away from each other -

Do you also like to paint on water?

Saga
It reminds me of a song from George Michael called 'Waiting for the Day', all about memories and love. As wonderful as always!!!!

Rob Graber
I like the rhythm very much, and the central "Don't" lines; also, the unexpected metaphoric questioning end.

I think we all paint on water somehow - beautiful, sad and reflective - hurt lies like a stone on the heart I think

Carmen, this is beautifully done:
The symbolism of cave, opening up to the waves, the vast sea, the tranquility, the silence and the kiss.. all work together to make the last line the best line...
