THE AGEING LIGHT

The light lightens less and less ,
The wick shortens ,
Snow on the roof ,
A rageing fier in the grate ,
Memory's live on

Eccentricity shares the stage with no one. I before E except after C hog wash! Let a poet be a poet and the ear be an ear while mouth plays third chair! And as the light dims and the length of it's brightness nears an end, life seems to lose the weight of the world, envy at war within; that light just a mere flcker. In honor of a great friend, Ken D. Willians.

Thanks for the many great poems and humor to ponder.

An introspective write, nicely put, I'm feeling older and can identify with this.
