Corridor Kisses

Standing outside stock still
I strip away the man-made
Glimpse the coastline bathed by
The moon frothed sea.
Beyond this in the corridor of
Pure air that leads to your ear
I place a kiss and wave it away.

When it arrives please
Put it in your pocket and
Apply whenever you need.
Where it is most wanted.

Oh these corridor kisses my dear!

John Ashleigh
A beautiful poem. Probably quite dear to many peoples hearts. Such much bliss and innocence.

Regards,
John.

This wasn't your intent, but it took me back to high school and misbehaving in the hallway.

Not a bad memory. : )

At the end of the corridor there is a choice.
Of steps or the elevator? A kiss in an elevator is less likely to be blown off course. But then it is always likely to find its intended mark.
Nice imagery Jenks.
Sid.
