i walk around a lot...

Circuit

Putting on the shoes I set off
With three hours in my hand...
Time enough to circuit my town
Before the lagoon has to listen.

But no!

The curse of the small circuit
Kicks in...I must taste tea and
Eat cakes with an expected glee
Whilst giving opinions on the fatness of fish
And the thiness of true hearts.

I might go again tomorrow.
One day I shall finish a circuit. ...
Arrive home at five to nine
Knowing all is well again.

Just love the matter of fact way this is written and you just gotta have some food stops along the way and it would be rude not to pass an opinion, the lagoon still waits....

How can one be expected to do rounds when everything is squared off in blocks. If you try to short circuit, you may be in for a shock...or a gawk...or sumpin like that...
