"I find it hard to speak about what you mean to me,
But I found a word that could explain this idolotry" - 12th November 2010.

Debbie.

I find it hard to speak about what you mean to me,
But I found a word that could explain this idolotry.
Going to the back roads for clarity,
My words will hope for you to see this amity.
Prospect with sense of wonder and hilarity,
The word that stops and stares at me,
Is the word - Ardency.

Ardency is a person so strong.
Ardency is a person with decree.
Ardency is a person with bonds,
Ardency is a person free.

Ardency is a person with choice.
Ardency is a person with moral.
Ardency is a person with voice.
Ardency is a person with sorrow.

Ardency is a person with adoration,
Ardency is a person with love
Ardency is a persons admiration,
Ardency is a person dreamed of.

Ardency, is debbie.

This is really good! The first two lines got my attention and after that, I stuck to the entire poem.

Bound by ardent affection, it seems. This has been a proven and time tested propulsion unit for art and poetry. Keep that ardent flame burning!

I see by your profile that you've been on poetbay since 2005, but I've just now seen your poems. I'm enjoying reading them and appreciate your comments.
