a secret

Everytime we exhale

life whispers its secret.

So soft is the whisper

and so soundproofed is man's heart,

that it misses the point.

Nature has wisdom assimmilated in it.

We are a part of it.

Wisdom is all-pervasive,

Still, so noisy it is, inside man's heart,

that it misses the point

Simply stunning, and all too true. The first two lines are as original and perfect as any I've read lately. Had I come across this not knowing who wrote it, I would have thought it a translation of one of the T'ang or Sung Dynasty Chinese poets. I don't have a higher compliment than that.
