Be Someone's Valentine

There's a world full of Valentines
No one will claim
Each one has a story
Each one has a name
The man on the corner
with barely a thread
of clothes on his back
No roof over his head
The girl who sits staring
With half vacant eyes
Scars crossing her soul
At night she still cries
You may never see them
They don't make a sound
But if you look closely
You'll see them around
A world full of Valentines
We all can claim
If we take time to listen
And call them by name
