love is a breath
the touch of a child’s hair
from a mother
whose eyes search
her tender strokes
on the child that feels
the breath of love

Not as good as expected from you

I keep coming back to this poem which I've bookmarked. I think a mother's love is unique, but this takes me back to my little blonde haired daughter when she was a baby (thirty years ago!). Thank you for that. This is so lightly written, it is like a touch of child's hair.
