THE WAY IT SNOWED

A life journey marked by tears
The woman I knew, lovely in her bones
She weeps in the sky of steep rough steps alone
Waiting for mankind through the creator of peace

Her love was innocent yet untamed
Shaking the pride of the angels her voice holds
Upon my discovery I took the bold
Tracing her cast only the wise could see

I leaped upon the stars across the timeless ocean
Between the shadow of her soul as fate ordained
No better bargain could set us apart
Death muted and danced to our taste

Thanks Countryfog, perhaps I have taken note of that

Very evocative Owen, some touching and obviously loving images, though you really should put "lovely in her bones" in quotation marks since those are Theodore Roethke's words.
