welL what can i say....i am SHeltered.


I am Sheltered

I am sheltered,
A lot of people dying and suffering,
But I am sheltered.

People working hard,
While I play with toys and cards,
I am sheltered.

While I walk out of the door,
When I am on the road;
I know, I am sheltered.

For alL the people working hard for me,
To make my life as comfortable as can be;
I am sheltered.

This life, I have taken for granted,
Because I've got alL i wanted.
I am sheltered.

I hear about the violence the brutality,
So many ugly thinngs i hear about, in reality;
But ii am kept safe in my home.
I am sheltered.

We alL live in the same world,
But see different things.
WHile others are at war, I am at peace.
While other people are suffering, I am enjoying.
I am sheltered.

I cant even imagine what life is like,
For some of these people.
For i am secure in my surroundings.
I am sheltered.

I hear alL these things;
There's war, there's suffering, there's sickness and poverty,
But none of it, happening to me.
I am sheltered.
I am kept here safe and sound.
I am living carefree, with love i am bound,
I am sheltered.
I am here stilL not satisfied with what i have;
And what I've got,
I am here innocent and ignorant,
Ignorant of what the world is like,
For i am kept safe and sound.
I AM SHELTERED
