JUST WHAT WILL BE REMEMBERED

Who will remembered recalled

Bye those who think back

To times passed

Some will remember the fool

Others will remember the other side

Did they know at all who what was

Some will remember what they chose

But who rely know at all

Chameleon comedian joker jackass clown fool idiot

Fountain of wisdom deep pool of knowledge

How indeed how will be remembered

At my age (67) I think about this too . . . how I am the last to have known my grandparents . . . how my grandchildren will be the last to have known me . . . the circle of life but also of death. Perhaps we truly die only when there are no more memories of us.

And I think of Shakespeare:
"The evil that men do lives after them,
The good is oft interred with their bones"

and try to believe that for most of us it is not true.
