This text is(4 the moment) a party pooper

“He is watching violent movies, plays violent video games no wonder that he has nightmares and has become violent. He has only himself to blame.”

“Have you watched *Minority Report?”

“Yes”

“What did you understand?”

Silence

“It had some violent scenes, right?”

“Yes, it did.”

“You should watch it together with him”

Silence

“Did the concept of the precrime unit remind you of anything?”

Silence

“Do you remember what Jesus said about cheating?”

“Yes! As soon as the desire enters your heart it is like you ‘ve already committed the sin blah blah"

“Almost like the precrime unit you commit a crime when you think of it before you commit it, right?”

“Indeed”

“It doesn’t matter what you watch but with which pair of eyes you witness what you witness. He sees with the eyes of a child.  Allow him to see through your eyes and allow him to tell you what he saw. Don’t forbid. Don’t teach. Don’t preach. Don’t be the keeper of the “given order of things” just be and try to understand each other nothing else is real(Thought to myself: is that what innocence means?), pay attention to the details and what each of you pays attention to, try to understand why that’s how you fight inner demons not with exorcism but in their birthplace”

"More words to be entered here"

Few months ago, we were all in the same room, someone sat close to him and asked: How is school going? “Well.” he replied while his eyes were actually saying: I don’t want you judging me, you don’t care really care about me shut up and while I witnessed their conversation (minor detail: I knew the truth) I thought to myself: “Not while I am watching! You will not become that person” I caught his attention with my eyes and with my chin pointing at him I said with a serene voice: Next time someone asks you the same question you can give the following reply instead: “How is school going?” “Well, as well as I want it to”(pause: he stopped and looked into my eyes, waiting to hear what I had to say without having any preconceived notion about who I am and what to expect from me(me=the unknown), he bravely opened himself up and waited, waited for me to show him a glimpse of my world and I did) He agreeably and enthusiastically nodded almost like saying = fuck yeah! I thought to myself back then: “I gave him his balls back! Yay!” He stood up pulled his pants up and puffed his chest up, went somewhere else I saw where he went with his eyes I need to talk to him one day but not yet when the time is right etc.

I just mentioned that(what She said what he said what I said and what his eyes said nothing else) to help him understand that he haven’t formed an opinion about who is good and who is bad yet . . . and of course to point out the bad consequences of making someone feel guilty or ashamed etc.

“But I know what is good and what is bad. We all do!”

“The(a)perception of truth is not truth itself.”

*With many thanks to the manuscript of “Minority Report”

. . . (if and when) to be continued but not now . . .
