Cold,
Like an apple
On the bottom shelf,

Seems so very humble
Like a gentle mumble,
Tonight.

Has a nice flow and rhythm to it. Nice form too, with short 3-line stanzas, and even an effective rhyme.

There seems something very cold indeed about an apple on the bottom shelf. Nice work.
