AN AMERICAN PHRASE

An old American phrase says

'' If it aint broke , don't fix! ''

The world our world is showing

Signs of wear and tear, the world

Our world is showing signs of being

Broken , bracketing down before closed eyes

Hairline cracks are beginning to show

We the citizens of this world

Banded together , combine our skills

We could yet save our world

So we can leave a better world

To those who follow us

We the citizens have to do this together, as you mention. Little by little we could save our world. That is the only way our world will remain habitable for generations of breathing species.
