PLAY WITH ME (POETRY AND PROSE)

Two cups imaginary
Green tea to be exact
We chat and giggle
Smiles about pretty

A knight with roses
Forget the cold armor
His steed left behind
Warmth to my bath

Romantic stories so calming
Heartache never had a chance
Strawberries and a blueberry
Honey great friends with sugar

Play with me poetry and prose
Sing along for you know the words
Play with me oh moon's rainbow
I still believe in forever and ever

Pastels floating yellow
Floral sailboats lift anchor
Gentleman strong waterfall
Bubbles sliding board down

Romeo's brother in the flesh
I'll play Juliet's twin sister
We graduate to adulthood
A crisp Sauvignon Blanc

My dreams aren't off limit
Seen you there in white
Next to a candle praying
Your crown of emerald stars
