sweet Elsewhere

I want somewhere to wander and to muse,
And therefore I'll create a sweet elsewhere
The age of din and damage can't abuse -
The meadows of the mind suit this affair,
And I shall charm and change it as I choose:
The world is getting far too much to bear:
With politicians sure to lay us low,
And people almost cold enough to snow.

So now I'll melt mellifluously away
To where no grasping tyrant has control,
( I think I'll set the month sometime in May -
Which should assist serenity of soul),
Sly demons find a grip through men of grey -
And they succeed, so cunning is their role:
For are they not dividing and demeaning
We poor human things who miss their meaning?

And I totally agree. The disdain spew their venom and expect all to be well. In short I too shall create my pleasure as well as my own personal sorrow; for the joy of it. Think I'll purchase an island. Right on the money and true to any sane heart. Great experience with another who knows the realness of this life. Had an eye full in this time travel machine called true living the life!
