Inspired affter reading Lawrence Beck's work.

TERROR IS TERROR HOME OR AWAY

A bomb is a bomb, death , blood shed

Is much the same anywhere , homeland

As somewhere foreign

Child of eight , home or over there killed

Names recorded at home , always remembered

The killed child over there , just a statistic , soon

Forgot , over looked

Drones , used over there , to kill , buttons pushed

Clean kills , more statistics accounted for

Wedding party , partying no more

A child of eight , a woman twenty eight

No longer dancing , no longer smiling , no longer giggling

Death , blood shed , arms and legs , amputated

Homeland , somewhere foreign , just the same anywhere

Terror , is terror , in the homeland or somewhear foreign

Yes. Grief is grief, home and away, name and unnamed. Grief doesn't look at statistics or overlook murdered innocents. The onslaught of violence near and far makes hearts heavy everywhere.

It's a sad world we live in as you have reminded us here.

The sad thing is, while we are shocked and sickened by the horrors done to innocent people, we are no longer surprised they happen. Such deaths have become just another fact of life, more and more we exist in the seven stages of grief.
