On the run - destroy my eyes, swallow me wholeDevour my soul
I become - a shattered contortion of hate
Destroying my fate
Soulshine crucifies my eyes
Now we see - with eyes that shall forever be blind
Trying to find
A way to flee - to shatter the walls of this cage
Feeding my rage
Run away - so lovely this growing decay
Mind gone astray
Learn to fly - figure that I'm gonna die
Consumed by a lie
Soulshine crucifies my lies
Hear the scream - as the monster inside me awakes
The time that it takes
to cease to dream - wake up and see that this hell is real
How does it feel?
Her soul radiates - a light that's slowly killing my mind
One of a kind
Writing fates - in big red letters with a knife on my wrist
Hide in the mist
Soulshine heeding my cries
Her soul shines like the sun
Don't know what I have done
This black hole that I become
Consuming everything on the run
