AS I LISTENDE

As I listened , to the woman reading out my work
She plaid her Celtic harp , tears welled up
My eyes filled with tears

It slipped my mind that the words were mine
As if I was hearing a poem of someone else

This is very interesting. We write out our sorrows and it is a relief, but hearing them back, then we feel them all over again.
Good insight into writing with this poem.
