BEHIND THE FACE

Behind the face , the smile , the grin
Lays a story , unsaid , unspoken , unwritan
Down

Exsept may be to some met by chance meeting
Some ware , unknown , unknown time disremberde now

Some one who stopde to listen , made no jugemant
Just listend , noded , a knowing nod , oh the head who understood
Parted with a shake of hands , smiled , a friendly smile
A stronger , who became a friend , well met

Only that '' stranger '', friend , understood the pains
That lay behind the public smiles

Soup in the Sand
Lovely write, indeed. I especially loved those last two lines, quite powerful indeed- "understood the pains that lay behind the public smiles" Love, just excellent. Jubilant cheers,

Seems like the perfect response to my "Smiling for Them" somehow, I may be wrong, but that's the feeling that comes through for me :) Speaks volumes, to me. Very good, and the emotions grab the reader... at least from my perspective, anyway :) *hugs* xx
