WHERES THE GLORY THEN? (THOUGHTS ON WORLD WAR ONE)

The war dead , all came back , and asked , the goatherd great and good , politicians
And all religions , known then and now , given thanks , saying of the GLORY'S dead
Funny that , pardon us for throwing up! They said were doing their '' GODS work!

'' We the dead of all your wars '' , '' Have a questan to ask , '' , '' NAY, DEMAND '' one voice , was heard to say

'' Yes , mate '' , '' Demand to know '' , ''' Wheres the glory '' , '' they told us way back
when'' , '' We'd have now we are dead '' , '' seems to us all hear '' , '' kind of late being , ours to have '' , '' kind of seems , death was all we got! '' , '' out of YOUR BLOODY WARS! ''.

I always feel sad to think of all the men and women who go out there to these wars 'cause I don't feel they're given a fair option of choice with all the true facts... it's disgusting. Your words here bring home the reality! *hugs* xx

How I dislike the use of god and country as a reason to kill the young and the strongest. Such a waste and a folly of old men.
I have never understood it.
