O' he sees a silhouette through the hot mid-summer NOON
Outlined against the clear blue horizon
A well rounded bosom heaving to the cuckoo's TUNE
A slender waist snaking through the blazing sun.
The Shepherd sits up longing to see his Beloved SOON
As the silhouette moves slowly, a waltz in the hips
He thinks of their wild love-making under the naked MOON
And longs to taste her passion as he kisses her luscious lips.
They run into each other's arms still in the hot blazing NOON
It's a flurry of passionate kisses, broken breaths and sighs
Undone and done, they look at each other, O' what a BOON!
And yet again lock their lips as they lock their eyes.
"I wanted to stay away but couldn't stay away any MORE.
I came back for you and for Delilah that I BORE.
It's only you and there is NONE,"
Sobbed the Beloved and yet again, they became ONE.
