The ace of space

I travel trough an electronic maze,
a digital futuristic enormous place.

We all know it as "the cyberspace".

Information are the things that I chase.

I'm all hooked up on this craze,
my technological and virtual embrace.

Reality to me is an unknown daze.

I'm of the new and computerised race,
a being without any human trace.

Living at Homo Digitalis pace,
without any of reality's grace.

an overwhelming sense of loneliness strikes me with your words... the cyberspace age though not wholly fulfilling i say is better than no contact whatsoever... i guess thats the point you try to get across with this... its like a double-edged reality... for my part, without it, id have a hard time to keep an anchor on things... but at the same time, i feel the sadness that things have come to be this way for me... thats my personal experience and i think thats what you convey in your poem... maybe not exactly to the same extent as my experience but its familiar just the same... it reaches me... i liked "Homo Digitalis" term you used... very good poem... thanks for sharing :)

computers though are reality for most in this day and age - we as humans leave our trace! here we are.
