I SPEAK OUT - WRITE OUT!

That's what I do - always have - and will continue to do so
Cos I have seen the past - live in the present time - seen to the future
I tell of what was - what is - of what can be - will be - if those continue
To say - can not happen - will not happen - now - this time
But is - has it has - will happen again - all the time you remain stom - quiet like
Then you give 'em the green light - and THEY will do there worse to all including you
You will just not find your self's excluded
I will speak out - write out - stand out - beat out my words - some will listen - most Wont of course - you get's that
Years ago when I were young I were up in Brick Lane - London
There had ben a number of racists attacks and killings
Brick Lane was an many emigrants lived - mostly Bangladesh
The Natal Front (NF) , had targeted it - those against the NF - showed their solidarity
Marches many times
I were determined to show my solidarity - I went by self expecting something to be
Going on - nothing was - I saw three given out leaflets out - Christens as it happens
I saw one lad had a scarf - not a wise attire! So I put him wise '' Look mate ''
'' I suggest , you put your scaff somewhere safe - not on show around your neck ''
'' Cos , members see you , they will grab your scarf - pull on it - strangle you with it! ''
He took heed of my warning - shoved in to his pocket - I staid on the side lines looking on - just in case!
Till they had given out all their leaflets - we shake hands they went their way I went my way - we four had dun our bit! and live to tell

I continue to do my bit - has best I can! I speak out - write out - it is what I do best!

That was sound advice. If something is wrong it must be spoken against. Even if it makes you unpopular and brands you as something. In the 80's they called me a subversive because I spoke out against things. Nice piece Ken.
