SOMETHING WITH OUT A NAME
There was something'' It '' had no name - or any name
Yet 'it'' did - no one could say
Or would say
No words could describe it
But it were there - day or night
It was there - all the time
'' It'' had a beauty - yet ''it'' were ugly
A smell - that was known
Like - dislike - nether - yet both
A sound - not audible - voice - a tune
A song - all - yet none of them
All around - yet no where - around
Near - yet so far away
''It '' - all yet - no one could say one way or the other
None cared - or gave a dame anyway
