ON GOING DOWN THE ROAD

I just go down this road of life
Pass the time of day - or night
Chatting - as I tend to do
Sometimes - sharing a joke
Other times listening to others woes
Maybe - hearing - something - good
In their life's - at times - something bad
At that time of meeting up by chance
That someone - is not a stranger
No more am I a stranger to them
